AI7A should support HDD over 8GB - maybe your HDD has a jumper to limit it to 8GB ?

Hi all !!!

Thanx for the fast reply but the jumpering must be ok because the Disk will be seen from other Boards with the needed parameters.
The Autofunction says 8063MB 16383 Cylinders 16 Heads 63 Sectors....

You can always use the Award BIOS, which should also be patchable.

Correction: That Award BIOS does NOT support up to 32GB. The file date on the website is grossly misleading. The date in the file is actually 6/10/97.

Last chance is to enter HDD parameters manually in Bios Setup .
