 I have been using a HP Pavilion. I have since bought a new 120 GB HDD for and WinXP for it. I am using 60 GB of the 120 GB. I just bought a new mobo and it doesn't fully recognize the HDD. I was told I can't switch it from my HP to my new one. So I refuse to get rid of it unless I have tried every possible thing. I have recently been able to get into DOS which has been a huge step. Now I am trying to flash the BIOS. I have the flash utility but I cannot get the BIOS update in a format I have been able to use. I have a Socket A mobo, M830LR, with the SiS735 chipset. The mobo website is www.pcchips.com.tw The BIOS update is in the .rom format and I can't seem to get it to work. PLEASE HELP!!!
