I just resently flashed that bios to the latest one and now I can't seem to get past the drive detection process any suggestions ?

I have contacted the manufacture..

Did you save your old BIOS ?
Did you clear CMOS after flashing ?
Are all disk parameters set to "Auto" or "LBA" in CMOS ?

Yes, I did save my old bios..

No, I didn't clear my old bios after flashing the computer did that for me..

The disk parameters are set to Auto..

Please Clear CMOS per Jumper and try again
Please load the Setup Defaults in Bios and try the IDE HDD Autodetect option

I have done all that and it seems that there were some problems with CMOS and they tried to fix them in this resent update ... ...

I am going to send it back to the MF do you think that they should replace it... www.leadtek.com ?

It could be easier to flash your saved BIOS back in (if it detected the drives ok), and ask if they are going to fix the problem in a newer BIOS release.

Yea, I agree.... Do you think that they should take it back and it should still be under warrenty?

That depends on the laws of the country where you bought it If it is actually defective within a year of purchase I would think you have a good case.

I live here in the states and I just bought it from www.googlegear.com just last sunday and I revived it Friday...

If it doesn't do what it was supposed to *with the original BIOS*, I would guess it is not fit for purpose and you should be able to return it to where you bought it from. If it doesn't work only because you flashed the latest BIOS into it, they won't be very sympathetic. The latest BIOS is always a gamble until it's been around for a while.

Well, I told the tech support guy and he told me that I needed to send it in and it will be fixed..
