Search for a BIOS-Update for SystemSoft BIOS for UMC8890

Hi,
I use a KAPOK-NOTEBOOK 5200PT with the SystemSoft BIOS for UMC8890 Version 1.01 (2487-10)-(01.8), Copyright 1983-1995 SystemSoft Corp. Now I want to change the harddisc.
This is not easy, because the BIOS cannot detect the new harddisc automatically and it is not possible to set the parameters for the new harddisc in the BIOS-setup-software.
SystemSoft Corp. does not give support for their own products.

I hope, somebody can help me! Sorry for my bad english.
