Board: looks like PC-Chips M520/M530 etc or a Eurone clone of it. Take a look at the PC-Chips entry on Wim's main site (see note 5) and then at the PC-Chips Lottery, http://www.stud.fernuni-hagen.de/q3998142/pcchips/ and try "Start here if you don't know"
BIOS replacement: it depends what you call easy.
It's less risky to pay for a new BIOS chip, as long as you're confident you can install the new chip without bending the legs.
Some people have absolutely no trouble flashing their motherboards. Other people end up with a dead BIOS and have to pay for a new BIOS chip. If you can live without your machine for the time it takes order a new chip and have it delivered, I would try flashing first. OR that money goes a long way towards a newer motherboard/CPU.

I will try flashing it first but I don't know where to start....can you assist me?
There's patched BIOS for HDDs up to 64GB at http://wims.rainbow-software.org/. You should use the Small Block version (because your current BIOS is "Release xxxxxxS").
Patched and tested BIOSes are at http://wims.rainbow-software.org

If you look in the "Collected Wisdom" forum there are a couple of pointers to step-by-step guides on manufacturer sites.RICEROCKET wrote:I will try flashing it first but I don't know where to start....can you assist me?
