Hello all.

I have a P4ITA motherboard by ECS. Now Ive been trying to update my BIOS to the latest BIOS version that I found on their website. However I get the old "The program file's part number does not match with your system" message. Now I tried the /py switch thats suggested in the FAQ but It doesnt work. Ive checked and doublechecked everything but still it doesnt work. It keeps giving me "The program file's part number does not match with your system" I'm at a loss on how to fix this so any help would be nice.

Regards,
niels

Can you give us the BIOS ID and message that you currently have, and a link to the BIOS you are trying to use ?
IF you're 100% sure you've got the right BIOS, I would suggest
Uniflash

My Bios ID is: i850-W83627-C-00

and the one I'm trying to update to is on here. its the 1.0d version at the bottom.

But I'm pretty sure it is indeed the p4ita. Ive got the box, its stamped on my MOBO and all so I'm pretty sure. I'll try that uniflash thing and post the results. Thanks alot

EDIT: my flash chip is a SST 49LF002A BTW
