What's the difference between Atrend ATC-1000 board versions? I noticed that:
r1 and r2 boards use BIOS v2.2x:
05/28/96-i430FX-2A59CA29C-00
ATC-1000 INTEL 82430FX BIOS VER:2.2 05-28-96

r3 use BIOS v2.3x:
06/13/96-i430FX-2A59CA29C-00
ATC-1000 INTEL 430FX BIOS VER:2.31I 06-13-96

r4 use BIOS v2.4x:
06/13/96-i430FX-2A59CA29C-00
ATC-1000 INTEL 430FX BIOS VER2.41 06-13-96

But then: What's BIOS v2.50 for?
01/13/1999-i430FX-787IF-ATC-1000C-00
ATC-1000 INTEL 430FX BIOS VER:2.50

And v3.0?
08/25/1998-i430FX-ATC-1000C-00
ATC-1000 VER:3.0 01

Is it possible that v2.50 and v3.0 BIOSes are for all board revisions?

2.5 still mentions I/O chip, ver 3.0 might be universal...

I have one ATC-1000 board now (the IDE controller was dead - replaced one 74F00 and one 74F08 and it works OK now). None of the official BIOSes support HDDs over 8.4GB so I modified the BIOS for my MS-5120 board (which is modified DTK BIOS :D ) to match this board. There were many problems with IRQ routing but after some modifications, finally it seems to work correctly. Supports HDDs up to 128GB, of course and has nice A-Trend logo :) http://wims.rainbow-software.org/
