I already tried bxa-b7.zip and it errored saying it was the wrong one (part mismatch). Using awd812.exe flasher.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Sounds like the wrong BIOS update file. Where did you get it from?

Got it working! (I think)... XP is re-installing now.

File: SP-p2bxc

I got the BIOS that didn't work from a post here... the motherboard ID was very close and it was the same one that was pictured on the graphic in the readme file. It was for a JC instead of a CC, I believe.

Maybe I'm too bold in applying these things. It's a used machine that's basically junk if I can't get it to work with a large hard drive. The SP-p2bxc was my second choice and it seems to be working.

::sigh:: Next time I'll go with a MB manufacturer that's been around.

Thanks again for everyone who posts here. You guys do a great service where the MB companies fall short.
