why are only 128GB of my Samsung SP1614N shown in Win2k?
Refering to the MSI HP the board can handle 160GB (latest BIOS 3.4 is flashed):

(305098) - Windows 2000 Service Pack 2 (SP2) and earlier versions of Windows 2000 do not support 48-bit Logical Block Addressing (LBA) as defined in the ATA/ATAPI 6.0 specification.
