Hi,
I want a new version of BIOS that would work on my gigabyte GA-60XM7 motherboard....
My current bios is Award BIOS v6.00PG for Intel 815 AGPset
the full number is
11/21/2000
i815-ITE8712-6A69RG0XC-00

I looked so hard on the internet but i coulden't find anything... I just want the bin file or whatever file it is that includes the BIOS program, and i have the program to write it on my flash, and i know how to do it... just give me the dam* BIOS.

My problem, by the way, is that i bought a new VGA card... one of thous fantastic nVIDIA GeForce fx 5600 with 256 DD-RAM memory... and my bios don't allow more than 64 MB VGA something (I forgot the name)... and since i plugged this card in, my PCI slots don't work.. even if i remove the VGA card and replace it with the old one. So I thought of updating my very old BIOS... maybe i will update the chipset driver next, so if you know a new intel 815 AGPset chipset driver, please tell me about it.

AND... if you know another solution for my problem please tell me.

Thanks a lot

Younes

The BIOS I pointed out is:
BIOS Information───────────────────────────────────
BIOS Version : Award Modular BIOS v6.00PG
BIOS Info : 10/24/2000-i815-ITE8712-6A69RG09C-00
BIOS Message : Intel 815 AGPSet BIOS for 6OXM7 F4
BIOS ID : 6A69RG09

Yours is:
11/21/2000
i815-ITE8712-6A69RG0XC-00

....there's a minor change in the BIOS ID (from "9" to "X"), and the fact that your BIOS is more recent than the latest official release at Gigabyte's server makes me suspect you have an OEM version of the board.

Please give us your BIOS message, and not just the BIOS ID string you provided.

A Google search with your Bios-ID came up with GA-6OXC as mainboard model number - please check this with markings on your Board !!
