A Gogle search for i440BX-W977TF-2A69KL1AC identifies Lucky Star 6ABX2-V (128 Kbyte BIOS) or -VC (256Kbyte BIOS). A search for "AD3-11" and "motherboard" turns up Unitech as the OEM for this board. The latest version of BIOS at the Unitec.co.kr site is #9KA6-03
http://www.unitec.co.kr/unitechboard/zboard.php?id=pdssearch for 6ABX2V.

There is a patched version of the Lucky Star 6ABX2-V #9KA6-03 128Kbyte BIOS at http://wims.rainbow-software.org which supports HDD to 128GB

Use that.
For interest:
At the Unitec link above, put 6ABX2V into the search box and click on the magnifying glass. Search results list 3 files, the last is 다운로드: 9ka6-3.exe ( 크기: 141.8 KB )

I describe briefly the operations that I have executed to upgrade:
1)...recorded on paper all settings of BIOS.
2)...saved on floppy diskette awdfl708.exe file autoextracted from 9ka6- 3.exe archive downloaded from link above.
3)...saved on the same foppy diskette 9ka6-3.bin file (last modified 24/10/2002) extracted from Lucky Star 6ABX2V128KB file downloaded from http://wims.rainbow-software.org.
4)...booted with minimum boot option (option n.4).
5)...typed at prompt awdfl708 9ak6-3.bin /Sn.
6)...resetted computer and setted BIOS to match the settings that I had before.
After same reboots all was ok.
Finally I have installed a 40 GB HD successfully.

Many thanks!!
