40Gb: Pcchips M598LMR 5.0

Hi All!

I am needing the BIOS Pcchips M598 LMR 5,0 that it has supported hds above of 32gb. The BIOS 2k1222s.rom did not recognize my 40gb HD (Seagate 340810A).

That BIOS should support HDD up to 128GB. Please check the jumper settings on your HDD. You may also need to set the maximum UDMA transfer mode on your HDD using Seagate's utility, see the post in the "Collected Wisdom" forum.
