Apparently this is a MLX8440 mobo, according to the research I have done (using the bios code i440lx-2a69jfdac-00). It is dated 12/15/97.

The manufacturer's web page doesn't exist anymore, and I have been unable to find a newer BIOS.

If anyone has the right BIOS for this mobo, along with the proper flash tool, I would appreciate it immensely.

Found several MLX BIOSes but their ID strings differ slightly.
Please post your full BIOS ID (and BIOS message), or use the BIOS AGENT and paste the results here. (You'll find it on the main page: http://www.wimsbios.com )

BTW, it's highly probable you'll find the model number printed on the motherboard (or BIOS sticker). There are 2 or 3 different MLX revisions.

There's a BETA BIOS with same BIOS ID string:
07/03/1998-i440LX-2A69JFDAC-00
(2a69jfda) EVALUATION ROM - NOT FOR SALE

BTW.: The FD manufacturer code is interesting.

There are at least MLX8440 and MLX8440-0S boards. The MLX8440-0S has sound onboard.

Other than the color of the ISA slots I can't spot anything different.

Hmmm, white ISA slots, are we looking at another ECS spinoff here?

I found this exact file, and tried to flash the bios, but it gives me an error, saying that the file is not for the product, or something similar.
