Hi,

After a badflash  I send my AWARD rev. 6.0 ROM-CHIP to a bios programmer to rewrite the bios.
My motherboard is: Asus A7v133 rev 1.05 Bios 1009 with Award chip. After the post, this message shows up: "Can´t Update ESCD".
I contacted the programmer and he tells me that the Lockbit protection is activated and I need to disable it so I can update my bios again.

When I flash the bios, everything runs fine, but the new version are not loaded.

Have a trick to remove the lockbit with a flash programm or a procedure?

Err... Looking in this giant fórum I read that Aflash have functions to remove and reprogramming the bios.

like:

aflash / py / xyz blah, blah, blah.

If the write protection of my bios is in the rom (because in the bios settings and in Jumper of the motherboard are switech OFF), can the aflash with the correct command updates correctly my bios?

If that´s possible, what command I should use? :?
