Does that mean, that I can use an updated bios from the Chaintech board?
I was searching the web and found a page saying too that Matsonic is from Chaintech. Well, I can't tell and I'm afraid to mess up my Bios.

What would you suggest Rainbow?

Have you checked the board against the picture at the link Rainbow sent you? Does it have the Chaintech symbol ?

Is there any marking 6BTA2 or similar on it ?

First of all thanks to Rainbow and NickS for your help!
The board - more precisely - the BIOS-chip indeed has a Chaintech symbol on it. It's a W29EE011 Chip. I couldn't find anything that says 6BTA2 (or similar) though.

Thanks to Jan Hill from http://www.jan-hill.com, who provided me with an appropriate BIOS. He's got a few 32Gbyte patches for various BIOS versions. You may check out his website.

Ok, thanks again and merry xmas to all of you :D
