Hello there,
Cant get my 120 GB Maxtor Diamond Plus recognized in the Bios!
Do I need a bios update??

AWD 6.00PG should not have issues with 32/64GB Bugs as in older 4.51PG Bios .
Make sure :
- your HDD is running/spinning at all
- you use the 80-wire cables with blue end to mainboard and black end to master
- the HDD master/slave config jumpers are in correct position

I've seen Award 6.0 BIOS with 64GB bug - but it was dated 1999...so this is not that case.

Thanks for the help! Suddenly the harddisk started working again, Dont know why!? But it doesnt seem very stable... Thanks again....
