I am trying to install an additonal 40 GB hard drive on my machine and it is not recognized. I understand that I need to get bios update. Relevant information for my existing bios is as follows:
BIOS Type: Award Modular BIOS v4.51PG
BIOS ID: 05/12/1999-i440ZX-W977EF-2A69KB3MC
OEM Sign-On: BIOS REV:1.01 (#20721)
Chipset: Intel 440BX/ZX rev 3
