Hello, I have a Pentium 4 1.70 and I dont know what I did to it, but everytime I start it up, during the initial BIOS boot, it just pauses for about five minutes, everything is frozen, you can't enter the setup or anything, then after about five minutes, it goes on like normal detecting the memory and the mouse, the harddrives, etc and then boots Windows 2000 Professional just fine. I have tried updating the BIOS but that didn't help.

The exact model number of Intel Desktop Board is D845GEBV2.

Thanks for any help you can provide!

Tried clearing CMOS and loading setup defaults?

check if western digital harddisk is set for single drive when connected as only device on the cable. and make sure you use compatible/approved memory for the board.
