I'm looking for a bios update.. Here's my id-string:
02/09/2001-8363-686B-6A6LMAB9C-00
I think this is my chipset:
6A6LM VIA VT8363 (KT-133) chipset with Award BIOS v6.00
And I also think that it is an Aopen motherboard and an Award bios ver. 6.00 PG. But what model is my motherboard? Can someone help me? =)
-Thomas
Please help me?
Is there a message just under the Award logo on the memory count screen ?

Thanks for the tip. This is my model: AOpen AK73 Series R1.07
Found the right bios and created a boot-disk. But now I have another problem.... BIOS is not set to boot from floppy, and I don't know the password... I guess I could open the case and remove the pw-jumper (if any?), but is there another way? Is it possible to crack the passord?

Well, I got permission to open the case andclear CMOS, set it up to boot from floppy, and updated bios with success!
Hopefully this will stop my machine from hanging as a result of an ACPI-error...
Thanks again Nick for your help! When you don't find something it's often right in front of you...
