Hello,

who can help me please?

I'm urgently seeking a BIOS-file for a Board from QDI Typ P5I437P3/IO (Chipset Triton I - 430FX) :?:

The BIOS String is:

51-0300-428003-00101111-101094-triton-h

If you have the named board form QDI, you can save the file with the flashtool ... ;)

Isn't that QDI P5I437/FMB board?
I made custom BIOS for this board, but I got also some reports that it does not work. http://www.pppr.sk/rainbow/hardware/p5i437fmb.html There's also original QDI BIOS on this page.

Hello,

Thx! On this site http://www.extremepoint.com/es/chipset2.htm you can find two types of the QDI P5I437 - P3/IO an P4/FMB. :)

1.) 51-0300-428003-00101111-101094-triton-h: QDI P5I437P3/IO

2.) 51-0400-428003-00101111-101094-TRITON-H: QDI P5I437P4/FMB

... it seems like "not the right" for your postet file :?:

Hello!

The BIOS is needed for my used purchased QDI P5I437P3/IO :)

On the board is a wrong BIOS with the String from the P5I437P4/FMB Code: 51-0400-xxxx... on the PCB i found printed "P5I437P3/IO V 1.0 (S 1.5)" :?

Now the wrong PCI-BIOS had Ver. 2.1 and i need for the 430FX (Triton I) Chipset on this board PCI ver. 2.0 ... at this time i can't connect a CD-ROM, a HDD the BIOS did identify!

Can someone help me please ???

Try the latest QDI official BIOS for the FMB board - it's the only AMI BIOS available for P5I437 boards.

I have MSI MS-5120 board (i430FX chipset too) - there was old BIOS when I bought it (used and very cheap) and the IDE controller seemed dead. When I flashed new BIOS, it started to work.

BTW.: PCI 2.1 or 2.0 - it does not matter

Flash the QDI official one - don't try the custom BIOS if you don't have a way to recover if it fails.

Hello Rainbow,

Yieeepiieee ... it works - the official one from QDI was flashes on the board and the IDE-channels are able to find my CD-ROM now!!!! :D

The new BIOS looks otherwise - it have a better autom. ide-detection than the older Vers. from 10/10/94

K7Jo thank you much for your helping. I'm seeking for a BIOS since tree days. My home-forum is http://www.planet3dnow.de from germany.

Wish you a nice pentecost-monday ... CU & THX
