geforce 2 mxmx 400
samsung 133mhz 256mb

i tryed to update the BIOS using: intel express bios update utility.
and now its not booting at all, its just beeping 3 tims...
in the BIOS Beep Codes (in the Product Guide)
3 beeps = First 64 K memory failure

all i know is that, my brother is goin to kill me :?
HELP

this is from the Product Guide:

1. Turn off the computer, disconnect the computer’s power cord, and disconnect all external
peripherals.
2. Remove the computer cover and locate the configuration jumper block (J9G1) (see Figure 17).
3. Remove the jumper from all pins as shown below to set recovery mode for Setup.
4. Insert the bootable BIOS update diskette into diskette drive A.
5. Replace the computer cover, connect the power cord, turn on the computer, and allow it to
boot. The recovery process will take a few minutes.

ok, i tryed it but my floppy is dead. only the cdrom is working,
the floppy drive is ok,
the mobo cant boot from floppy, but from the cdrom.
(only the cdrom is respond to the booting)

i tryed to removed the cdrom, and just have the floppy plugged in
allso i tryed to take off the baterry, i hoped it wood clear the cmos, and make the floppy as first boot device

When your working with Xp , you can go to the diskette station and you click with the right button of your mouse , then you see the format option
there you take bootable disk .
The you download the award.exe file and the good bios file on the disk.
then you restart the pc with the disk in.
And you type when you have the prompt a:\ Award823exe biosfile

No, because this is an Intel motherboad and he is trying to use Intel BIOS recovery. Follow Intel's instructions - I think you just have to put the bios file on the disk, but it's been about 4 years since I did this

Update:
You download ftp://aiedownload.intel.com/df-support/ ... 45hvp7.exe
Running this unpacks a number of files including sw.exe, run.bat and readme.txt. Running run.bat from a DOS prompt on your C: drive runs sw.exe to unpack disk.img, token and rawrite.exe and then creates a bootable diskette.
