Ok, the built in AGP doesnt work, floppy is dead as well asthe CDROM.
I tried a PCI graphics card but it didnt work either.
Does this mean my chances would be better if I use ISA video and floppy?

Yup. It has worked for me. Are there other signs of life, e.g. beep indicating it can't find a video card ?

man, it makes no sense that when there are AGP PCI ISA that you get forced to use ISA disk & graphics when the bootblock kicks in...i mean who's gonna have all that gear lol

The keyboard lights are driven by a separate processor (it used to be an 8051 microprocessor but these days it's usually all built into the I/O). About all you can say from the fact that the lights do this is that the 5V, an oscillator circuit and part of the I/O are working. It doesn't guarantee the CPU is running.zapbuzz wrote:nah there isnt but when I press the reset switch i see the post work because the keyboard lights flash
