Hi!
I have a problem. I bought a new disc but my motherboard doesn´t recognize it. I want to update my BIOS, but I cant find anything for my motherboard.

Bios manufacturer Award Modular BIOS v4.51PG
Bios OEM Signom AGP-PCI BIOS FOR INTEL-82440BX (6IBA-V1.3)
Super I/O chip Winbond 83977TF found at port 3F0h
I would be very grateful if somebody can help me!

Gainward 6IBA with latest 128KB Bios .
This Bios should be patchable up to 128GB - it's possible you can use the full size of this HDD or not depending on your OS .
Should we patch this Bios up to 128GB for you to test with ?

Hello!!
Thanks! The patch you have posted me worked OK! I update my bios in no time!
But the new 152Gb disc still don´t work!!
I was wondering if you have any other bios update for me?
For example : The Bios Wizard reports me that SMBIOS (DMI) Test Failed. It says ("Current version is 2.0! The minimum DMI version is 2.1.")
Thanks for answer!

Do you see the new Bios OEM message "Gainward 6IBA-V 1.3 + Wimsbios HDD patch up to 128GB" ?
Make sure your Master/Slave/Cable Select jumpers are set according to the jumper table printed onto the HDD !
Is the drive detected if the 32GB Limitation jumper is set ?
Have you tried to Clear CMOS and to "Load Setup Defauts" in Bios afterwards ?
