I've got a MB Asus A7V266 with the latest bios available in the site...

I needed to know where is the PCB version of this board, because I might get a better CPU and the specifications says that for the AMD Athlon XP 2400+ work in this MB bios must be 1011, wich I have, and the PCB version must be 1.07...

so, I don't know how to check this PCB thing out...

btw, does anyone have this 2 together?

thanks!!

The PCB version is printed somewhere on the board.

PCB = Motherboard Revision

Usually Asus prints this revision number directly behind the model number so you might find A7V-266 1.07 or similar

It is possible even an older version supprts this CPU but that's not guaranteed by Asus
