THE SYSTEM IS A GATEWAY 2000. GW2K-HAMPTON. MODEL#LPMNI-TOWER.P55C-200.SERIAL#007952034. MFG DATE 09/19/97. SORRY IT TOOK SO LONG WITH INFO. HOPE THIS HELPS!
http://support.gateway.com/support/default.asp thinks that serial number is invalid - should be 10 characters. Are you sure it is right ?
