I bought a new hd and now I have tons of issues with it. It is not being detected at all. It is the only hd on the cable.

I am positive it is my BIOS. I've checked my manufacturers website, and according to them my bios is up to date. They either failed to update their website, so there is nothing I can do with this.

My bios date is 11-02-2000. I think it definatelly needs an update, but I cant find the bios anywhere. What can I do about this???

okay, I finally got it to work, my hd is being detected, but I still need a bios update.........which I cant find anywhere!
