Hi Folks

I'm new into here so please be a little patient & excuse my errors.

Have have a MOBO which according to the start up screen is identified as 62 0330 001437 0010111 071595 SiS7305 M810LR-H
On the board itself, I can see (in very small print) Rev. 3.0

When booting up, a message appears on screen which seems wrong. It says: Checking NVRAM......Update failed

The date shown for the AMIBIOS is 03/30/2001 S.

The system starts up OK but I'm worried about that failure message.....would the system run better if the "update" DIDN'T fail?

The board has an AMD 850 on it & 384Mgs of memory.

I was thinking to try upgrading the BIOS but have confusion as to which file to get & from where (I guess I can find instructions elswhere on this forum on how to actually do it).

Any help, most appreciated.

You have a PcChips M810LR V3.0, a good support page here:
