Question 1:
I am interested in the possiblity of recoding an Award 4.5 Bios to 6.0 Bios ? Is this possible ? If yes, on what it depends ? Chipset, Hardware Layout and so on ? Does anybody of you knows it ?
Question 2:
Is anybody of you able to write a Bios ? Means really coding such junky things ?!

Do you mean is there anyone here who currently has the original source code for Award BIOS 6.0? Hm, very doubtful.
One of our associates, Peter, is an x86 BIOS developer, but he hasn't been around lately. We have a few other associates who are talented programmers, but they've never mentioned writing a BIOS from scratch.
So, unfortunately, it looks like the long answer is 'no', as well.

And I don't mean at least having the original AWARD 6.0 source code.
I would do the job, if I would know how I have to set the registers and the other junk !
I mean I have a source code (an Award 4.5er) and ths should be recoded, because it's a bit buggy.
I know the issues, know how to solve them (most possible) but don't know how to do it !

And tell me please, we suppose we have an "old" mainboard with Award 4.5 PG Bios and we want to write a complete new one but after restrictions of Award 6.0 Bios.
Does this depends on the chip, meaning the EEPROM ? Because the size is equal, 256 Kbyte (2 MBit) ?

Presumably you can put a BIOS in any compatible chip, as long as it fits. So obviously you can't replace a 1mbit 4.5 bios with a 2mbit 6.0 bios in the original chip.
