No, not quite (I was afraid my description wouldn't be too clear, as I'm not a native to English).

I've got one of these-

..and one of these on my motherboard-
<9-pin block connector sticking out of the main board .. couldn't find a pic I could hotlink here>
In essence, what I want is to plug the USB device into the first (USB->PS/2) adapter,
that into the PS/2-to-serial adapter,
that into the DB9 socket at the end of the flat cable-thingy -see pic above-, and
that into the
USB, not serial connector block on my motherboard.
I hope it makes more sense now .. at this point I realize it's
totally crazy, but I still wonder what you guys might think about it.
