I got a secondhand pc as a gift it was running properly for a few days then it started giving error messages and shutting down. After I restart it it tries to boot from floppy and fails. Non of the bios settings have been changed. Last time this screen popped up:

Have you tried the XP repair as suggested in the link to the thread above?

I'm gonna try that tomorrow, I ctrl alt del'd and it worked for a few days then it happened again. Tried to ctrl,alt del but nothing happens this time.
