HII

i have a problem...now i m in germany and i have to use my pc in Italy...i have found an utility REALvnc with which i can do it....(controlo my pc in italy from a pc here in germany) the only problem is that a i need a kind of "timer" to turn on the pc in Italy..... otherwise i can not use it....

I think that it can be done only acting on the BIOS (couse it´s the bios that controll this operation....).... do you know how to do it?

1 if there is a setting in the bios panel

or

2 if i need a program or something else.

thanks byee

You can set up a power socket switch that will turn on or off the hardware via phone.
You can set a modem to wake up your computer from standby.
Perhaps a remote session can turn it off?
Such huge landfill new tech costs when all we need is scaleability.
