i have this mainboard and i cant get it to recognize my wireles card to work. it acts like it has nothing in slot. wireles card is gigabyte, atheros chipset.

is there any help?

Unfortunately there is no newer BIOS release than the version you currently have. I'd try going for a different wireless card.

Bios or POST should show there's at least something ina slot. Either it displays PCI card in slot #x or your should see something like "Updating ESCD" the first time you insert the card.

If nothing is seen/recognized then either the card is bad or the slot is not compatible (PCI INT# routing problem or PCI specification too low).
