CRC and Checksum issue in Phoenix bios for mobile platform
I am facing a problem related to the CRC in the phoenix BIOS. Do any body knows how this CRC and Check sum are calculated in the Phoenix Bios .... I am able to locate the Byte Positions of CRC and checksum in the BIOS Data Area. Have no clue how this CRC is generated when i want to change any of the Bytes for eg. i modify the Byte containing the value for Numlock, to switch it off from on position. Now new CRC and Check sum are to be generated to apply the changes in CMOS Data Area.
