Hi there!
I got a new 80 GB Seagate HD and when i tried to connect it as a slave to my IDE1 it wasn't detected. Could it be that my Bios is not up to date enough to handle drives of this size, since i'm running Award Modular BIOS v4.51PG. And if yes, where do i find the "right" update?! :(
Thanks for ANY help, :(
Mirome
Do I have to upgrade??

Post your Bios-ID and/or search the Award ID-List to find out your manufacturer and look onto your Board to find the model number .
Please doublecheck the Master/Slave jumpers on both of your HDD and install the 80 wire IDE-cable(if used) in the corect way : Blue = Mainboard / Black = Master drive .
Is your drive recognized as Master on secondary ?
