It's an OEM Microstar MS-6178 for Tiny Computer.
Hard to find BIOS support for it...

Try removing the 32GB limitation jumper from your HDD - jumper setting should be printed onto it somewhere, otherwise check manual or website.
If Bios is hanging enter HD parameters (Cyl, Head, sector; printed onto HDD) manually and enable LBA for this drive.

dated Nov/11th/2000 according to the readme.txt that came with
the bios.

Flashing an OEM BIOS with a retail BIOS version can be so risky.
In fact, most of your BIOS files are intended for Award BIOS and he has an Ami BIOS.

Apparently, from what the link saved in the folder with the bios
files I have here , the 6183 is compatible, although I would flash
another chip 1st, saving your original..

And from what I have saved, version 1.8 came in both ami & award.
ami was called a6178v18.exe whilst the award version 1.8 was
called w6178v18.exe

This is a small section of the web page I saved below, that has me
wondering if the 6183 is compatible..

In fact, even the initial release from MSI themselves was an
AMI bios, then all updates preceding the original release were
award..

It's a Microstar mistake. Both files contents the Award BIOS version W6178IMS.180
