Hi,

Can anybody help? I'm trying to install a PCI Graphics Card in place of the onboard VGA ouput. Unfortunately the onboard VGA appears to have given up and died before I got the chance - therefore I now cannot get into the BIOS to change the default VGA output.

I've tried just plugging the PCI card in and booting up in the hope that it might be recognised, but no luck - I think the BIOS has been set to use AGP first over PCI.

Does anybody have any suggestions? Or know if there is a jumper setting on the MOBO (MS-6368) to disable the onboard VGA?

I reall hope somebody can help because it's doing my head in big time. :?

finding another MS-6368, set that for PCI first, save settings, make a backup of its bios and flash that to your board? however, if only this happens your board will revert to default settings which means you'll be SOL without the other board to make a flash... And check for this:

It's rare to see just the onboard VGA go, you may have an other problem.

Borrow an AGP video card?
Which version of motherboard PCB do you have - 5.x or 2.1?
Tested patched BIOSes. Untested patched BIOSes.
