My harddrive was dying so I reformatted, reinstalled Win xp, etc. Everything works fine except when I boot up or turn computer on from hibernate I get the intel screen up for about 20 seconds first and it doesn't sound like it's doing anything. Then it checks the drives and boots normally. If I hit F2 to enter setup it says entering setup for the same amount of time.
I have updated my bios. I have played with cmos setting (disabled quiet boot, changed order of drives for boot up, etc) to no avail.
Bios is: PT84510A.86A.0012.P02
Motherboard: Intel D845BG
Pentium 4, 1.60GHz, 512MB RAM
Win XP home, sp2
New this time round in startup: D-link wireless (ran wireless before but not with d-link in startup): AIRGCFG and WZCSLDR2.
So why is it doing this? What is the fix? I understand quite a bit but not too good at cmos or command prompts. Please give detail or link to detail if you have steps to answer.
Thanks!

You have replaced that harddisk? My harddrive was dying so I reformatted, reinstalled Win xp, etc.
If so, is the new drive a Western Digital?
If so, did you jumper it for Master?
If so, jumper it for single drive (no jumper or on just one pin).
