Hello,
I have a Canon Innova Book 350CD laptop and I want to install Windows 95 (from a cd) onto it. The only problem is that I cannot boot from the CD-ROM drive. I went into the BIOS and it does not give me an option to boot from the cd-rom drive. Does any one have a solution to this problem? Or maybe a patched BIOS that enables the laptop to boot off of a CD drive?
Thanks,
Robert.

I do not have the windows 95 floppies. But Can i install windows 95 onto the hard drive using a desktop computer (with the adapter for the IDE interface) and then put it back into the laptop?
Take precautions.

IIRC, you can still download them from Microsoft.
You can always try the "swapping" game...but you never know what might happen.
Thanks.
