I have been given a Mobo out of a IBM NetVista 8304 box the pn number 32P2992 on the board confirms this.

My Question is this.

I did not see the wiring configuration on the working box so I need the pin out of the connector. It is an 8pin straight connector located to the right side of the primary Ide connector(#7 in the image).

Also there is a 30 pin connector in the lower right of the board. Does anyone know what this is for( greyed box in image)?

Below is a snapshot of that I got from IBM's sight. there site is not very helpful.

I'm not sure Edwin. I haven't found a Picture of a box. They are all renderings. But I believe that it is a self contained horizontal desktop.

I have the same problem with a different IBM motherboard, but the front panel connector is the same.
I looked on the Lenovo.com website and got the manual, but that is no help.
