I am having a little trouble identifying the model of my mobo, I need to get a bios update to solve some power management issues in WINXP. It has a via chipset. Numbers on chipset are VT82C686A

The link "Award BIOS IDs" on the front of this site identifies your board manufacturer as FIC. You can get their URL from the "Manufacturer links". You're looking for a board with the Via PM-133 Pro Savage (VT8605) Chipset. When it boots there may be a message in the top left of the screen with the Award logo which says "FIC xxxx" or whatever and gives you the model number.
Tested patched BIOSes. Untested patched BIOSes.
