Help on update of Asus NCCH-DL

I need help on installing a new update on my motherboard..I have never done it before and I am very wary! I hope one of you gurus can walk me through it please. My mB is a NCCH-DL asus duel CPU socket 604.

I want to save the old bios in case things go wrong and I nee to know what bios I can upgrade to...ASUS support are very hard to contact.

I can give anybody any info to help the process.
Bios revision now is : 1003
Firmware: 111.101
date of Bios 10-1-04

you only need to flash the latest BIOS version 1006.002 using AwardBIOS Flash Utility v1.17 for ASUS
