Lenovo Thinkcenter M6417-12U
This mobo has no floppy ony USB devices. Tried normal and boot block recovery. Any tips specific to this mobo ? It is a very small mobo and has the 1-2-3 CLR cmos pins. I used a DVD iso to attempt the recovery. No dice. the unit just beeps 2-5-1 short beeps over and over. Never completes...Hmmm. This happended on 7 out of 9 computers. Two work no problem. All were flashed the same way. I cannot believe this eben happended. Any recovery hints or tips from someone else that may have have some luck with the Lenovos?
Latest update is this bios will seek the CD drive looking for but not FINDING the AMIBOOT.ROM file. Is this possibly due to the CD format ? If I create a bootable CD that looks like a floppy would that do it ? Seems like eveyone else on here has no ideas either...
