Is it possible to modify a BIOS's boot device detection to distinguish between different 'removable media'. Let me elaborate:
I have multiple USB ports on my Revo. I want to boot from a USB stick, which is supported by the bios (AMI v R01.A1L). However, the SanDisk memory card also appears to the system as a removeable media. At boot up, I want the BIOS to refine its search so that it only boots from USB sticks and not other kinds of removable hardware.
I'm of the opinion that this may require a modification of the BIOS, so I would also be interested in who I could contact for this kind of work.
Cheers,
DL

if you make sure the USB stick is earlier in the boot order than the memory card, you should be fine. If that's not possible, you have to make sure the sandisk is not inserted when booting.
