hi,

compaq boards are a nightmare to identify! - no bios string

i thinks its actually an intel board.

its got a FC - PGA celeron processor.

it's got an intel chipset, graphics 815 intel chipset.

it's got deskpro on the front but with no series info - sorry no docs.

i need to know what sound chipset i have.

cheers,

You can probably determine that by visiting the compaq site and a) checking the specs, or b) looking for driver downloads.
Flash your BIOS at your own risk.

I have very limited information on Deskpro units. Check the FTP site on the site above under Compaq/Deskpro/
