My computer has Award Modular BIOS v4.51PG and does not recognize my 80 gb drive.
I just flashed my BIOS with the most recent update - Rev 2.10 from BCM:

The flash went smoothly, but my machine only boots if I keep the jumper on that limits the drive to 32gb. Otherwise the BIOS freezes after the POST.
Do I need a patch? Or is there something else I could be doing wrong?

Rainbow's patch utility says you need a patch even for 2.10. It'll be in the post in a couple of minutes.
