Is tht the 9KA5 or the 9KA6 BIOS ? Check the BIOS OEM message just below the Award logo, top left in the memory count page. If 9KA5 I have a tested patched version just waiting to be indexed by Rainbow....

hello and thanks for the help
I have restarted my comp and checked out a few other parameters.
unfortunately I haven't anything like 9KA5 or so.
when I restart my comp, I see this Nr
#AD3-05 below the award logo.
(by the way: on my bios on the motherboard,i found this s/n
136402101 Pci/Pnp 686)

I haven't found any lucky star specifications on the motherboard,
but this:
Intel pci set FW82371EB
SL2MY

no idea,if these informations are usefull to you

AH, I didn't spot the "TF". According to Google, Edwin (as evasive at motherboards.org) wrote
unknown i440BX-W977TF-2A69KL1AC-00 = 6ABX2V
http://www.bios.ru/konf/index.php?msid=1815
So we need to patch that one.
[update]Or we don't. Check out this thread:
http://www.wimsbios.net/phpBB2/viewtopi ... highlight=

or "Search" (link at top of page) for 6ABX2V.

That is a model number that should be printed somewhere on your motherboard. If not, look for something similar, it may save your board from a bad flash...
