I have problems with my new harddisk maxtor. When I boot it hangs. Bios find it not. Where would I find the bios upgrade. Could you help me.

Following the guidance at http://www.wimsbios.com on Award IDs suggests your motherboard is

Epox EP-51MVP3E-M or EP-51MVP3F-A or EP-58MVP3C-M or EP-58VP3A or EP-5BVP3A or P55-VP3

Take a look at your board and see if you can find anything which helps identify your board as one of these . The Epox website is at http://www.epox.com/
[update]..but only lists a BIOS for EP-58MVP3C-M. I don't know if one BIOS fits all.. checking out this BIOS now.

The latest BIOS on the site says

Model support: EP-58MVP3C-M, EP-51MVP3E-M, EP-51MVP3F-A, EP-58VP3A

. It looks as though it supports HDD >32 Gb already, but there may be a problem with the detection.
