this book say "6240V1", but it no say nothing about PIII.

I think that is the motherboard of the photo a 6240V2.

Good morning to all:

Yesterday i was reading the document above related and it's say that if my PCB (¿Plastic Card Board?) is green, it's a 6240V1. I dismout the mother board and i can't see anything more.

With this information, i install del 6240118a.bin file in the bios and clear the CMOS.

I continue like at first, (except that i can see the 80gb hd).

If i try to install the w2000, this say me that the disk is bad and that he can repare it.

If i install the old Hd (8gb), with w98 install, when i go to copy a directory, the pc shut down with a error that say that i have a error cache (¿LC1?) VXD.

If i start a problem like edonkey, the pc reboot.

I can do anything.

please, ¿can anybody help me?.

¿is there a problem with the setup configuration or my bios is working bad?, with the original bios i haven't anyproblem.

thanks.

You shouldn't have started a new thread.

Anyway, try using version 117A from:
ftp://ftp.univ-lille1.fr/pub/vendor/atr ... -6240V1.0/

And by the way, do you have a BX or ZX chipset?

PWB=Printed Wiring Board (same thing)
PCC=Printed Circuit Card (same thing)
PWM=Printed Wiring Module (same thing) or Pulse Width Modulated
PCA=Printed Circuit Assembly (same thing)
PWA - you guessed

any other names for a PCB ?
