Why do you need an update ? Last time someone asked about Wintac/Edom they had to send their current BIOS in to be patched for hard disk upgrade.

Tested patched BIOSes. Untested patched BIOSes.

It's usually quite useful to provide your BIOS ID string, so we can try to look for something newer...

OFFICIAL: 03/16/98-i440LX-W977-2A69JW0BC-04 (W6LXB 440LX)
But a release.txt file of Wintac explicitly mentions a 09/01/98 release that I have never been able to find.
As NickS has asked, what do you need it for? Large HDD or Celeron support? The former could be "solved", but the latter would require a lot of work.

http://wims.rainbow-software.orgedwin lists two untested versions, read the .txt file first to see what version you need (1Mbit/2Mbit). Please report the results.
