Hello
I bought a 80gb maxtor hd, but my bios doesnt recognize it
I contacted the epox motherboard site already but they said
they didnt upgrade this sort of motherboard bios anymore
(biosupdate support only the maximum capacity of 65 gb)
What can i do?
- manually change in bios value of hd?
How can i do that?
or
Something else?
Greetings
Thibaud
ps: i dont know if its only me, but if i previewed my message, and

80GB: 09/21/2000-i440BX/ZX-977-2A69KPABC-00
That BIOS supports HDDs up to 128GB!
Patched and tested BIOSes are at http://wims.rainbow-software.org

Mobile racks, until very recently, were not capable of speeds beyond DMA33. Been there, done that, bought racks that said UDMA66/100 capable on the box, problem solved (and a happy customer).
